Creating a sustainable business

A step-by-step guide

Becoming a net-zero carbon business is no easy feat and requires the support of governments, corporates, and investors. But what challenges does sustainability pose and how can you overcome them?  Three speakers will discuss important topics, such as circularity, energy efficiency, and the supply of critical raw materials in the process of becoming net-zero. Rob van der Meij will moderate the session and share his experience as an entrepreneur and investor in sustainable & circular technologies. The other speakers?

Victor Vreeken – CEO Black Bear
The road to circularity is paved with good intentions and amazing slogans. But the regulatory and financial barriers are high. Victor will tell his story and the rollercoaster it took to overcome these obstacles.

Valerie Dejaeghere – CEO Qpinch
Living & working climate neutral should be on everybody’s radar. Valerie will tell you more about the immediate benefits of low-hanging fruit efficiency solutions for the industry.

Peter Tom Jones – Director of the KU Leuven Institute of Sustainable Metals and Minerals (SIM²)
